DAY 1 – Arrival in Accra

  • Airport pickup and hotel transfer
  • Welcome dinner featuring Ghanaian cuisine

  • Overnight 1: Accra

DAY 2 – Accra: Independence, Pan-Africanism & Legacy

  • National Museum. Explore artifacts tracing Ghana’s journey from ancient kingdoms to modern independence.
  • Jamestown historical quarter. Discover colonial architecture, fishing communities, and vibrant street culture.
  • Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum. Visit the peaceful memorial honoring Ghana’s first president.
  • Black Star / Independence Square. Stand at Ghana’s iconic symbol of independence and national pride.
  • W.E.B. Du Bois Centre. Honor the legacy of the renowned Pan-African intellectual.
  • Overnight 2: Accra
 

DAY 3 – Day trip to Kumasi: Ashanti Spiritual History

Prempeh II Jubilee Museum and cultural center.  Explore the royal seat and traditions of the Ashanti Kingdom and  view royal regalia and artifacts reflecting Ashanti heritage.

Bonwire village – Kente weaving.  Watch artisans weave Ghana’s iconic and symbolic kente cloth.

  • Overnight 3: Accra (Return trip Accra)

DAY 4 – Assin Manso → Cape Coast (Ancestral Focus)

  • Slave River & Memorial. A powerful memorial marking the ‘Last Bath’ of enslaved Africans.
  • Cape Coast Castle. Tour a UNESCO-recognized fortress that tells the story of the slave trade.
  • Elmina Castle. Visit the oldest European-built structure in sub-Saharan Africa.
  • Overnight 4: Elmina

DAY 5– Kakum → Return to Accra

  • Kakum canopy walkway. Walk a canopy bridge over lush rainforest treetops.

DAY 6 – Tropical Botanicals & Cocoa History

  • Aburi Botanical Gardens. Peaceful hilltop gardens with towering trees and scenic views.

Day 7 – Shopping and Departure
